Today I am thankful for:
- blooming flowers, strawberries, and lettuce in my backyard
- kids who are playing semi-nicely with each other
- a fun summer ahead!
Today I am thankful for:
I shared some really fun maternity photos recently and I am finally sharing the baby photos. The parents-to-be didn’t know the gender of their baby, so it was exciting to find out they had a BOY! This new mom also has her own blog and has shared even more pictures over there. Check her out.
It was important that the furry big sister had her place in the family pictures.Sometimes you need a good cry. And there is nothing a finger in the mouth can’t fix.Guard duty. It’s such a bonus when the grandparents are in town and get to jump in for a few photos with the little one. This nursery is styled to perfection. Again, you can check out mom’s blog for all the details. Baby toes are irresistible!I am so happy for this new family of three and am honored to have been able to capture this time in their lives.
Welcome to the world, little Oden!
LOVE THESE! the dog guarding is great!
Today I am thankful for:
It’s Thankful Thursday!
This week I am thankful for:
Moms, get in front of the camera! Your children will thank you someday.
yay for seeing you behind the lens!!!
I’m excited to share these maternity pictures with you because we had SO MUCH FUN taking them. This adorable couple has been waiting for a while to get their turn at parenthood and I am so happy I got to capture this time for them. This mom-to-be shares her thoughts on this shoot and more pictures from the session on her blog.
I knew that I definitely wanted to go to the trail where my friend hikes with her dog all the time. I thought that was an important part of their story. So, we hit the snowy trails near Park City to take some pictures.
First of all, I think it’s very important to include their first baby (fur baby) in the shoot. She is an important part of the family and was about to lose her status as only-child-who-gets-all-the-attention!
I would have never asked a pregnant woman to lie in the snow, but this one decided she wanted to make a maternity snow angel!
We headed home for some photos inside the house. These two have a beautiful house and I can’t wait to show you their amazing nursery (when I share pictures of the new baby).
My friends decided not to find out the sex of the baby. We were all placing bets on what we thought it would be. What do you think it is? The baby was born recently and let’s just say that I lost the bet. I get to meet the new little bundle of joy tomorrow. Stay tuned for baby pictures!
i wish i did this with you. PRICELESS photos
After the hustle and bustle of the holiday season subsides, I always think about the year that has just passed and about how grateful I am. I have pretty much abandoned my blog (let’s call it writer’s block, not laziness), yet have been blessed with loyal clients who tell their friends about me too! I want to say THANK YOU, once again, for trusting me to capture your family memories. I hope to make more memories with you in 2016.
These are just some of my favorites from the last year.
a true talent!
Today I am thankful for:
The sun was out long enough to enjoy some shadows.
the colors are unreal!
