red lollipop

As parents, we do whatever it takes to make our kids happy before a photo shoot.  In this case, it was a big, red lollipop.   Luckily, this little girl, and the rest of the family, rocked their photo shoot– red mouth and all.  (At least it matched her shoes.  Nice work, mom!)

My philosophy as a photographer is to capture natural, real moments.  I don’t need to sit in front of my computer, trying to clean up her face.  This is how the day unfolded, and a lollipop and candy necklace were part of it.

Hanging out with big brothers is pretty fun too.  Maybe I don’t need that lollipop!

The warm weather and colored leaves in these photos are making me happy thinking about fall.  I have decided that I really like fall in Salt Lake City.  Of course, as a kid, summer is best because you don’t have to go to school.  Now that I am a mom, the season that sends the kids back to school is the best (did I just say that?).  Supermodel family.  Don’t you agree? And there is no lack of personality here.

After running around the field and climbing on the stone wall, their 2013 family photo shoot was a wrap.  I had a great time with all of you!  Hope to see you again next fall.
