Today I am thankful for:

• a week-long, much needed escape from the reality of my life
• the first week of school…helping me ease back into the reality
• a husband that will be traveling all week, leaving me home alone to deal with the reality (that one’s an opposite trick)

*I’ve never seen buildings so old!  My American brain could hardly make sense of it.
