senior pictures

I had the opportunity to spend some time with this lovely “Senior” the other day.

It’s become a really popular trend lately for high school seniors to hire professional photographers to take their pictures.  Of course we have been doing this for years, but back in my day, we used to spend an hour in a tiny studio with cheesy props and call it a day.  The results were less than flattering.

Yes, this is me.  I couldn’t resist the opportunity to add a visual.  “Go lie on that mirror.  See how your reflection has a really stretched out look?  Perfect.  And let me put some lights in your eyes that will make you look possessed.  Great.”

Back to Katie.  Sorry to make your images share a blog post with my high school picture.

I have to admit that I don’t have much experience with this demographic.  I was slightly nervous about delivering photos that would meet the approval of a teenager.  Once we got going, I changed my tune completely.  Katie made my job easy.  Check her out.

I hope she approves!

The contrast of Katie in front of the barn is absolutely stunning! I love that you can visually “feel” the texture that the barn has through that photograph. Way to go Idie!ReplyCancel
